To All the Boys

The beloved Netflix Original To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is returning with a sequel just in time for Valentine’s Day! The first movie was named ‘best teen romance of the decade’ by Vox and drew in a great audience with its heart melting scenes. “I loved the first movie I couldn’t get enough of Peter Kavinsky and Lara Jean. I wait to see them again in the sequel,” Scarlette Araujo, 11th grade, shared. Peter Kavinsky (played by Noah Centineo), Lara Jean (played by Lana Condor) will be joined by a new character in the sequel, who was previously mentioned in the first movie as one of the boys Lara had written to, John Ambrose (played by Jordan Fischer).
The first movie had just left off as Lara and Peter are now officially boyfriend-girlfriend and the trailer for the sequel picks it off as if no time has passed. As Lara and Peter are just going out on dates, she receives a letter from one of the boys she wrote to a while back in middle school, John Ambrose. “As much as I love Peter Kavinsky, John Ambrose is the cutest person ever and perfect for Lara Jean,” Justine Cruz, 12th grade, shares. So, at just the moment “happily ever after” might normally begin, Lara Jean is presented with two options, where she’s never had so much as one before.
“To All the Boys” has now gone on to become the second most streamed original movie on Netflix as it’s coming closer to Valentine’s Day. “After seeing the trailer for the sequel, I will definitely be seeing it and I love how it’s just in time for Valentine’s Day,” Sara Almodovar, 12th grade, shares. The sequel releases February 12th.
